Kevin Harrington

As a military veteran and former police officer, Kevin Harrington came to Farmers Union Midwest Agency in 2017. Kevin was born and raised on a dairy farm in central Minnesota until his family sold out when he was a junior in high school. After high school he worked as a Deputy Sheriff in his hometown area. His father strongly encouraged him to join the military, so he joined the United States Air Force where he spent 10 years working with federal agencies in the war on drugs in Central America. His passion to serve others with the intensity and tenacity of a veteran brought him to the insurance world in 2008. Kevin’s passion to serve others earned him numerous awards and accolades from the carriers with whom he works with every day, including being named to the Chairman’s Circle as the top agent in the U.S. for one company three consecutive years. Taking advantage of the military education opportunities, he has an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from Minot State University, his Master of Science in Human Communication, and MBA from Eastern Washington University. He has three children and three grandchildren and is extremely active in helping kids (and some adults) learn how to hunt, fish, and enjoy the outdoors. Kevin lives in Lincoln, Nebraska
