Ryan began his carrier in the insurance industry immediately after graduating college in 2015. After spending nearly 4 years with a captive insurance company, Ryan found an opportunity to start an independent agency with Farmers Union Midwest Agency in March of 2019. Ryan was drawn to starting independent agency due to the limitations captive agents face by only representing one company with a “take it or leave it” coverage option. He wanted to know he was providing his clients with the best possible personalized coverage and the most competitive premiums available. Today, Ryan and his staff still remain committed to always being dependable and providing the best possible service for the families and businesses throughout the Midwest.
Ryan grew up in the small town of Winterset, Iowa where he learned the core values of hard work and integrity. In 2013, Ryan married his “high school sweetheart” Casady and moved to Blair where they still live today raising their three children: Rory, Elsie, and Tinsley. An avid sports fan and outdoorsman, Ryan’s hobbies basketball, golf, along with hunting and fishing. When Ryan is not pursuing his hobbies, you can find him spending quality time with his wife and children.
