Ryan began his career in the insurance industry in 2015. After nearly four years with a captive insurance company, he recognized an opportunity to better serve his clients by launching an independent agency with Farmers Union Midwest Agency in March 2019.
Ryan was drawn to the independent agency model because it allows him to offer clients a wider range of coverage options rather than being limited to a single insurance carrier. His goal has always been to provide personalized protection, competitive premiums, and solutions tailored to each client’s unique needs. Today, Ryan and his team remain committed to delivering dependable service and trusted insurance guidance to families and businesses throughout the Midwest.
Raised in the small town of Winterset, Iowa, Ryan learned the values of hard work, integrity, and putting people first. In 2013, he married his high school sweetheart, Casady, and together they made their home in Blair, where they are raising their five children: Rory, Elsie, Tinsley, Reier, and Rhodes.
Outside of the office, Ryan enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. A passionate sports fan, he enjoys basketball and golf, as well as hunting and fishing. Most of all, Ryan values time with his wife and children and takes pride in being actively involved in their lives and community.
